Minutes of the June 2020 GA - Approved at the July 2022 General Assembly
You are invited to the next GPCA General Assembly, Saturday and Sunday June 13th & 14th, 2020. This GA will be held by video- and teleconference. The details of the teleconference will be sent to all registrants and will also be on the GA webpage at http://cagreens.org/ga/2020-06.
Delegates to the GA are chosen by counties According to Article 7 of the GPCA bylaws. Please ensure that your County Party has submitted its list of delegates. All Greens are invited to attend the General Assembly.
Registration is open and we ask for a contribution of $15 to cover costs and support the Green Party of California, $25 after June 9th.

Registration - GPCA General Assembly
San Jose, June 27-28, 2015You are invited to the next GPCA General Assembly, Saturday/Sunday June 27-28 in San Jose. The General Assembly is the party's primary decision-making body. PLEASE NOTE: Due to technical issues we have extended the registration deadline to June 10th. After that, prices will go up as detailed below. Please also note that the primary location has changed.

The General Assembly will meet in conjunction with the US Social Forum (June 24-28) (Facebook Event), which will include several Green Party sponsored workshops. The GPCA has obtained a special discounted USSF registration fee of $20 if you register below along with your General Assembly registration ($60 total GPCA & USSF).
The primary location of the US Social Forum - San Jose will be at the Washington United Youth Center (921 South First St., San Jose, CA). All events and workshops will take place either at the Youth Center or at other locations within short walking distance along First Street. The "First Street Strip" is a vibrant pedestrian community area, and Greens are encouraged to participate and connect with the local community. Come to the Youth Center first, and you will be able to find other locations from there.TRANSIT OPTIONS: Washington United Youth Center (Google Map) is located 1.7 miles from the San Jose Diridon Station (served by Amtrak, Caltrain, and VTA). From Diridon, take the VTA Route 68 bus to 1st and Oak/Martha (about 20 mins, busses run every 15 mins). Closest Light Rail station is Virginia (about 15 min walk), but the 68 bus from Diridon is best unless you are already coming from elsewhere on the light rail.
Hotels in downtown San Jose are extremely expensive. The closest affordable hotels are Motel 6 San Jose South, and Motel 6 Fremont South. If you are driving, hotels are less expensive up along the east bay (Fremont, Hayward). If you are taking transit, find something along El Camino further up the peninsula (Mountain View, Redwood City, San Carlos, even as far up as SFO), near a Caltrain station, then follow the transit directions via Diridon above.

Registration - GPCA General Assembly
Santa Barbara, June 21-22, 2014You are invited to the next General Assembly of the GPCA, at the Santa Rosa Dorm Formal Lounge , UC Santa Barbara, Isla Vista. The General Assembly is the party's primary decision-making body. Delegates are chosen by counties. Please have your County Party send a list of all of your delegates here. Registration is now open and will be $40 through June 1 and $50 afterwards. All registrations include lunch and a light breakfast each day. All meals will be vegetarian or vegan.
We are also strongly encouraging all attendees to stay in the dorms on Saturday night, to maximize planned and spontaneous interactions, at this critical juncture for our party where our survival is threatened by Proposition 14 (Top Two Primary) - and because other lodging options in the Santa Barbara area are much more expensive.
The room package for $75 includes a Saturday night room in a double, a very nice vegan catered Saturday night dinner, and a full breakfast Sunday morning. If paid by June 1, we are offering a discounted combined registration/room price of $105, a savings of $10. After June 1, the combined registration/room price will be $125. Owing to space limitations at UCSB, rooms may not be available after June 9 (the date by which we need to pay UCSB for how many people are staying on campus.) For a single room, the discounted registration/room price by June 1 is $130 and after June 1, is $140. For those not staying in the dorms, who want to purchase Saturday night dinner separately, the cost is $17 if paid by June 1.
